    Social media plays an undeniable role in the lives of our students. When used correctly, it can be a valuable tool. When it is misused, the results can be devastating. Apps such as Snapchat and TikTok provide ample opportunities for young people to share personal information and sometimes make hurtful comments. In fact, most in-school incidents start outside of school, on a personal device, which then impacts our school climate and culture.
