“The Bucks County Pre-K Counts Consortium is a network of the PKC Lead Agencies in Bucks County working collaboratively to sustain and expand high-quality Pre-K Counts programming for families and children. This is accomplished through mutual sharing of information, responding to professional development needs of our staff, following a standardized county-wide PKC Mentoring & Induction program, promoting legislative advocacy, participating in community events, and promoting family engagement.”

APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2023 - 2024 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE AVAILABLE BY FEBRUARY 28, 2023. ALL INDIVIDUALS APPLYING FOR THE 2023 - 2024 SCHOOL YEAR MUST SUBMIT A 2023 - 2024 APPLICATION WITH ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS.
To be eligible for the Pennsbury School District Pre-K Counts Program for the 2023 - 2024 school year, children and families must meet the following criteria:
APPLICATION SUBMISSION INFORMATIONPlease mail your completed application packet to the address below or drop it off at Pennsbury Administration Building - Student Services Department, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please leave your application and all supporting documents in the basket marked "Pre-K Documents". The basket is emptied daily.
- Families must meet the financial guideline requirements for the program.
- Students must be four years old by September 1, 2023, to be age-eligible for the four-year-old program.
- Students must be three years old by September 1, 2023, to be age-eligible for the three-year-old program.

When will I know if my child is accepted into the program?
Families are notified in June about acceptance into the program. This usually occurs around the same time that the state budget is passed.
Is the program a half or full-day program?
For the 22-23 school year, the Pennsbury School District Pre-K Counts program is a full-day program. The 4-year-old classrooms within the district are from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The 3 & 4-year-old classrooms at the Morrisville YMCA are from 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Before and aftercare is not provided at the Pennsbury School District locations. Before and aftercare may be available at the Morrisville YMCA location for an additional cost. For more information, please call 215-736-8077.
Where is the Pennsbury Pre-K Counts program located?
For the 22-23 school year, the 4-year-old classrooms are located within Pennsbury School District. The program will be held at Manor Elementary School (401 Penn Valley Road, Levittown), Walt Disney Elementary School (200 Lakeside Drive, Levittown), and Penn Valley Elementary School (180 North Turn Lane, Levittown). We also have a 3 & 4-year-old classroom at the Morrisville YMCA (200 Pennsylvania Avenue, Morrisville).
Do I have to reside within Pennsbury School District to apply for the Pennsbury Pre-K Counts Program?
No, the Pennsbury School District Pre-K program is open to all residents of Pennsylvania. Students from other local districts are invited to apply.
My financial income is over the 300% financial guideline limit amount for my household size. Can I still apply for the Pre-K Counts program?
No, the Pre-K Counts program is a grant-funded program provided through the Office of Child Development and Early Learning. Since this is a grant-funded program, which is free of charge to all participants, we must adhere to the guidelines set forth by OCDEL.
I am over the income limit. Could I pay for my child to attend the program?
No, since this is a grant-funded program all students MUST meet the financial guideline requirements.
Is transportation provided?
No, transportation is not provided to or from the program. Families are required to provide transportation to and from school each day.
My child receives Early Intervention services through an outside organization. Is my child able to receive these services at school?
Yes, we have several outside agencies that visit children in our Pre-K program and provide early intervention services to them during instructional hours.
How many students are in each classroom?
All of our classrooms have 18 students with one teacher and a paraprofessional.
What supplies does my child need for the program?
The grant pays for all costs of the program including supplies and meals. Your child should arrive at school with a standard-size backpack. All other necessary materials will be provided at no charge.
Where do I drop off my child's application?
All applications for the Pennsbury School District 3 & 4-year-old program MUST be submitted to Pennsbury School District Administration Building - Student Services Department, 134 Yardley Avenue, Fallsington, PA 19054.
