Congratulations to Pennsbury's Chief Financial Officer, Chris Berdnik, on receiving the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials' (PASBO) 2023 Gary Reeser Memorial Award. The award is the highest honor bestowed upon a school business official in the state.

 

"Mr. Berdnik's exceptional work as a school business official and engagement with the school district and students make him a well-deserving winner of PASBO's highest recognition," said Dr. Tom Smith, Pennsbury Superintendent of Schools.

 

The Gary E. Reeser Memorial Award is given to an individual who has exemplified professionalism, leadership, and innovation in the field of school business management.

 

Berdnick received the award at PASBO's 68th Annual Conference in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania on March 15, 2023. In addition to his role as the district's chief financial officer, Mr. Berdnik is also the coach for Pennsbury High School's award-winning Speech and Debate team.
