Pennwood Traffic Patterns and Parking Procedures

  • Walkers/Bike Riders

    Students who approach Pennwood from Big Oak Road or Makefield Road will follow the typical path.  Students who walk or bike ride on Roelofs Road (to or from any middle school) should enter the campus via the crossing guard, located at the parking lot entrance.  Students should remain on the sidewalk as they proceed to the doors or bike rack.

    Visiting Pennwood during the School Day

    If you need to visit Pennwood during the day, please park in a visitor's spot in the two lots located on Roelofs. If you park in the second lot, please use the buzzer by Gym A to enter the building. Report immediately to the office to sign in.  If you are picking up a student, please have your ID ready. 

    Parking for Special Events at Pennwood

    For special events such as Back to School Night, Concerts, PTO events, etc., families are invited to park in the parking lot on Roelofs Road. This is the second parking lot on Roelofs Road. If this lot is full, parking is also available in the visitor lot at the front of the school. 

    Student Drop Off/Pick Up (rev. 8/2018)  

    Please use the 2nd lot on Roelofs Road behind the school. Line up at the entrance along the sidewalk as you approach the doors. Proceed to the exit.
